With around 100 daily flights to a total of 17 regional destinations, the Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL) is a small, but important Texan airport, providing direct access to the heart of Dallas. Love Field can be found just 5 miles / 8 km to the northwest of central Dallas, and next to Bachman Lake and the Trinity River Greenbelt Park. The airport's three main carriers are Delta Connection, Continental and Southwest Airlines, with the third floor of the garage being the best place to watch the aircraft taking off and landing. Dallas Love Field Airport even features its very own radio station - LOVE Radio 1580 AM.


Being positioned within Dallas itself and next to the I-183 interstate, Love Field Airport has plenty of ground transportation options to downtown and further destinations around the city, such as Deep Ellum, Greenville Avenue, University Park, Uptown and the vibrant Arts District, where many of the city's best galleries reside. Choose from city-run DART buses, services operated by three commercial shuttle companies and the services of several taxi operators.
